Concrete Field Testing Technician—Grade I is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform and record the results of seven basic field tests on freshly mixed concrete in accordance with the following  ASTM Standard Methods or Procedures:  C-172, C-143, C-231, C-173, C-138, C-31, and C-1064.

2) ACI  Concrete Strength Testing Technician

3) ACI  Aggregate Testing Technician Level 1 & 2

An Aggregate Testing Technician is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform, record, and report the results of basic field and laboratory procedures for aggregates in accordance with the following   ASTM Standard Methods or Procedures: D-75, C-702, C-117, C-136, C-127, C-128, C-566 and C-40.

4)ACI  Concrete Flatwork Finisher & Technician

Concrete Flatwork Finisher is a craftsman who has demonstrated knowledge about and the ability to place, consolidate, finish, edge, joint, cure and protect concrete flatwork.

Concrete Flatwork Technician is a person who is knowledgeable about proper procedures to place, consolidate, finish, edge, joint, cure and protect concrete flatwork, but who lacks sufficient work experience to qualify as a Concrete Flatwork Finisher.

5) ACI  Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician - Level 1 & 2

Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician—Level 1 is an individual who has obtained concurrent certifications as both  ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician AND ACI Aggregate Testing Technician - Level 1

Having obtained these certifications, this individual has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform, record, and report the results of a variety of laboratory procedures for concrete and aggregates.

A Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician—Level 2 is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform, record, and report the results of advanced laboratory procedures for aggregates and concrete   in accordance with the following ACI Documents and ASTM Standard Methods or Procedures: ACI 214, ACI 211.1, C-192, C-143, C-173, C-231, C-138, C-1064, C-470,  C-496,  C-42, C-157

6) ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector

Concrete Construction Special Inspector is a person qualified to inspect and record the results of concrete construction inspection based on codes and job specifications. The program covers inspection during preplacement, placement, and post-placement operations. 

An Associate Concrete Construction Special Inspector is a person who is knowledgeable about inspection procedures for concrete construction, including preplacement, placement, and post-placement operations; but does not have the experience required to qualify as an ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector.

Scope and Knowledge:
The programs require a knowledge of concrete construction, including plan reading, formwork installation and removal, reinforcements, embedments, sampling and testing freshly mixed concrete, conveying, placing, consolidation, finishing, jointing, curing, and protection. The technical resource materials used in these programs include the following:

7) ACI Concrete Transportation Construction Inspector

Concrete Transportation Construction Inspector is a person who has demonstrated proficiency in concrete inspection methods for transportation projects, including preplacement, placement, and post-placement operations. 

Concrete Transportation Construction Inspector-in-Training is a person who has demonstrated knowledge in concrete inspection methods for transportation projects, but does not have the experience required to qualify as an ACI Concrete Transportation Construction Inspector.

Scope and Knowledge:
The program requires a knowledge of concrete construction, including plan reading, soil-cement, piling installations, formwork installation and removal, reinforcements, embedments, sampling and testing freshly mixed concrete, conveying, placing, consolidation, finishing, jointing, curing, and protection.

8) ACI-CRSI Adhesive Anchor Installer

 Adhesive Anchor Installer is an individual who has demonstrated the ability to read, comprehend, and execute instructions to properly install adhesive anchors in concrete. The Adhesive Anchor Installer must also demonstrate possession of the knowledge to properly assess ambient conditions, concrete condition, materials, equipment, and tools for installing adhesive anchors and determine when it is appropriate to proceed with installation of an adhesive anchor or when additional guidance from a supervisor/foreman/project engineer is needed.

9) ACI Masonry Field Testing Technician

Masonry Field Testing Technician is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to perform sample preparation and testing of masonry construction-related materials—including materials for brick, structural clay tile, concrete masonry units, prisms, mortars, and grouts—in the field.

Scope and Knowledge:
The program requires a working knowledge of field procedures selected from the following ASTM test methods and practices: 
C-67, C-90, C-140, C-270, C-780, C-1019, C-1314, C-1552

10) ACI Masonry Laboratory Testing Technician

Masonry Laboratory Testing Technician is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to perform laboratory procedures required for preparation and testing of masonry construction-related materials including brick, structural clay tile, concrete masonry units, prisms, mortars, and grouts.

Scope and Knowledge:
The program requires a working knowledge of laboratory procedures selected from the following
ASTM test methods and practices: 
C-90, C-140, C-270, C-780, C-1019, C-1314, C-1552
